About This Project

Second grade students at Fall Creek Elementary School in Ithaca, New York, learned about the geography, environments, animals and diverse cultures in Canada.  Our main goal was to investigate issues of sustainability: what concerns do people have and what is being done to preserve the environment, wildlife, or cultures in each region.  Our project culminated in an original dramatic performance written by students, parents, and teachers, which was based on what we learned about Canada and it’s efforts towards sustainability.

This site was created to help us communicate with Canadians, display pictures of each region, and show others some of what we’ve learned.  Please feel free to post your comments if you’d like to contribute.
