- The national animal is the beaver (a remarkable animal!).

- Canada’s land is almost half forest (1/10th of the world’s forests).

- It has the longest coastline of any country in the world, bordering the Atlantic, Arctic and Pacific oceans.

- Canada’s only neighbor is The United States of America. The two countries share the longest common border in the world, commonly referred to as “the world’s longest undefended border.”

    Hi Mihal,

    That was indeed a typo (which has been fixed now), although it could have fit as a pun. Canadians are well aware that a huge part of our economy depends on business with our favorite “neighbour.”
